Many of you have written to me about the closure of Westbourne Post Office on Seamoor Road. I share your concerns about the loss of the essential community services it provides.

 

These services go beyond just posting letters – they are a lifeline for many, in particular for elderly residents who rely on it for banking, paying bills and accessing government services.

The decision to include the Westbourne Post Office on the list of branches at risk of closure was made with no prior consultation or input from those who depend on it daily. 

​

​I will be asking the Post Office to listen to the concerns of Westbourne residents, recognise the importance of this branch and to keep the service as it is.​
